The Udine table is a loft classic in a very clean form: a massive solid oak top and a metal base with straight lines in the shape of an inverted "U". This contrast of wood and steel looks modern, but it is not a seasonal trend - Udine is timeless, practical, and easily adapts to various interiors. It will fit well in a dining room, an open-plan living room with a kitchenette, or even in an office space where formal order and solid craftsmanship are important.
The tabletop is made of solid oak, 4 cm thick, giving the furniture a distinct, "grown-up" presence and calmly withstanding intensive use. Oak is a natural material, so each table has its unique grain pattern, slight differences in shades and texture – these are what make the top not "repetitive" like in furniture made of particleboard, but truly one of a kind. There are three wood grades to choose from, allowing you to match the character of the table to your preferences and interior style. In the Rustic grade, oak shows its most industrial side – prominent knots and cracks appear, which are filled with black resin, enhancing the loft effect. The Natura grade is more subdued, with fewer cracks and a calmer pattern, but still with the natural "truth" of wood. The Select grade is a choice for those who prefer more uniform surfaces – minor "pencil" knots up to about 1 cm and small oak fillings may appear, but the overall look is the calmest visually. In each grade, discoloration, color differences, or stronger graining between boards are possible – these are natural features of oak and part of its charm.
The tabletop is standardly protected with OSMO 3065 hardwax oil, which enhances the color and structure of the wood and provides everyday protection. If you want a specific effect in your interior, you can also choose other wood finishes available in the offer. The Udine table is available in a wide range of sizes, making it easy to adapt to the floor space and the number of household members – whether it's a compact table for everyday meals or a larger form for entertaining guests.
The visual "icing on the cake" is the metal base: made of a 10 × 4 cm profile, it has the shape of an inverted "U" and is placed across the tabletop. The edge of the top and the legs are flush with each other, which gives a very clean, refined effect and emphasizes the minimalist character of the design. The base is powder-coated in black (RAL 9005), making the finish durable and resistant to use. If you want to match the table to details in the interior or break the classic black, you can choose any color from the RAL Classic palette.
For those who like wood with a strongly marked structure, a version with a sandblasted top is also available. Sandblasting gives oak a noble, "aged" look – it sculpts the surface along the grain and deeply enhances the texture. In this version, the tabletop does not have black fillings for knots and cracks as in the standard finish, and the effect is more raw and natural in perception.
The Udine table is part of a larger collection, so you can easily create a cohesive, loft-style interior. Furniture from the same line – a bench with metal legs, a shelving unit, and an RTV cabinet – will be an excellent complement, maintaining the same material language and simple, strong forms.
