The Malamata floor lamp by Luceplan combines an opaline, glass diffuser with a distinctive counterweight mechanism. With one movement, the light's position can be smoothly adjusted to suit an armchair, sofa, or reading area.

At the heart of the design is the counterweight mechanism: by pressing a button on top of the sphere, the spring is released, and the counterweight moves freely along the stem, allowing the diffuser's position to be smoothly adjusted up and down. Thus, with one movement, the lamp can be adapted to an armchair, sofa, or reading area.
