Falkland pendant lamp – Artemide

The Falkland pendant lamp by Artemide is an icon of Italian design, created by Bruno Munari. Its light, sculptural form is achieved by combining flexible, finely woven fabric with metal rings of various diameters. The tension of the fabric and the weight of the rings give the fixture its characteristic undulating silhouette.

A single light source along with an aluminium reflector illuminates the structure from within, emphasizing the soft lines of the fabric and providing subtle, diffused light. The 85 cm high version is perfect for over a table, in a living room, hallway, or an elegant commercial space.
