Falkland Floor Lamp – Artemide
The Falkland Floor by Artemide is an iconic floor lamp designed by Bruno Munari in 1964. Its distinctive, organic silhouette is created by the tension of elastic Filanca fabric stretched over seven steel rings of various diameters. This is an example of design where form arises from the properties of the material and the action of forces, rather than from classical modeling of a solid body.
In the presented configuration, the lamp consists of an aluminum-grey structure, a dedicated base, and a white textile diffuser. An aluminum reflector placed inside the fixture distributes light evenly over the entire surface of the shade, creating soft, atmospheric lighting ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or commercial spaces.
